Acura RDX is not a fuel-efficient vehicle. Although it has a smaller size turbocharged engine it still consumes as much as some SUVs with 3.0 to 3.5 liter engines in our mpg list of SUVs. Downsizing is getting the same power with less engine displacement and (thus) less fuel consumption. For Acura, the second part of this sentence does not hold. It is a small SUV with big SUV mpg. Also, 5-speed auto box does not help, either. It needs more gears. It can do much better.
